Our first date was an early morning coffee and a walk across the Powder Point Bridge, watching the swell, on a warm Winter day. We talked easily about our families, our mutual years spent in California and Louisiana, our work, surfing, pets, my children, our friends, and the forks in our life paths. Our friendship began then, and love developed, through so many carefree days enjoying spending time in the same ways. That love has only strengthened while holding each other up and standing steadfast on many of the hard days that 2020 brought to us all. Being together has always felt like arriving home: a safe place to be yourself, comforted by familiarity and warmth. We feel so fortunate to be getting married and joining our families. We look forward to celebrating our wedding day with you.
