Hello! My name is Jaclyn Galbraith and I have known Laura for 12 years. The day we shared our first class together in high school, we knew we'd be best friends. She also was convinced by me to quit cheer and be my soccer gal on the field. Apart from our high school memories that we both cherish to this day, we have grown up together, and are now first time proud mamas. Sharing this with her has been the second greatest blessing apart from our beautiful babies! Collyn, we haven't met just yet but I feel like we have known each other as long as Laura and I have! I see the happiness you bring her and the constant laughs you bring to us all. I am so proud of you for being an amazing Dad as well as taking care of my best friend. Collyn and I met working together at NCDOC for the Navy. The first interaction we had was in a department meeting and Collyn was complaining about something, over I came to learn that is just what Collyn does! Collyn and I have known each other for going on 4 years now. Collyn has been the person I knew I could go to if I needed to talk to someone, as long as it wasn't on Facebook messenger because then he will never respond! So happy for y'all and cant wait for the big day, love you guys!

Hi, I'm Alexis! I met Laura when I started working for the same company she worked at and we became instant best friends (my first day is our friendaversary). I met Collyn at a work party and we bonded over Star Wars after Laura left us standing awkwardly by ourselves LOL. From then on, they have been like my family and I am so incredibly excited for them and the beautiful life they will continue to grow together! Little baby Case (The Child, as I like to call him) is the cutest little guy and you both are such amazing parents. Cannot wait to celebrate them!

I met Collyn in the Navy at our first Duty station. We are mostly friends because he would hear me talk shit about people that we worked with and how dumb they were. We took turns doing that and it turned into us going to the gym together and becoming roommates with our boy Manzo. It was basically Jersey Shore but with three dudes in the Navy. We became best friends, even though there were times I wanted to smack the life out of him, we've always been there for each other. I remember him talking about Laura when he first met her saying, "yea she's taller than me bro and always talks smack just like I do". So a little advice from a married person, always communicate and let each other know how much you love each other. I am happy for both of you and Congratulations!

Hi, I'm Megan and I met Laura my first year at ECU in 2014 - we had an elementary education class together. Good ol' Tedesco's (Tartar Sauce) literacy for children class. I think we instantly became soulmates from day one. From then on we spent the next few years attached at the hip, doing ballet together in clubs, holding hands, falling off ECU signs and ultimately solidifying that we were indeed soulmates. She's one of the greatest friends I've ever known and I am so thankful I've had her by my side during all of life's crazy adventures. Now, I am absolutely honored to share Laura with her other soulmate (Collyn), and be a part of her new adventure of becoming Mrs. Hartley!

The first time I met Collyn was during my last command at Nioc Norfolk. Right away, I knew he was full of energy, jokes, and was just downright a person I could get along with. We bonded over working out, meal prepping and moving in with our brother Ricardo, and from there, our brotherhood started. The rest of our department would make fun of us and call us. "one symbiotic being", but we didn't care, we were 3 brothers. Collyn was definitely the more outgoing, energetic, and livelier one out of us and we usually went along with whatever he had planned for the weekends. Collyn will forever be my 'brother from another mother' and I can't wait to see what the rest of his future holds. For as little as I got to live with him, i feel like I've known him all my life. From birthday parties, tailgates and frat parties to engagements, gender reveals and weddings! I first met Collyn at my annual Saint Patrick's Day celebration, where we all had an unforgettable weekend. Since then, all of the nights out and all of the nights in are always memorable! Hi, I am Jess! Laura and I met way back in 2011, our freshman year at ECU in good ol' Cotton Hall. We bonded over awkward dancing, dining hall grilled cheese and almost failing chemistry 101 together.
