Our Story

Oh the thinks you can think

Jordan and I were in Seusicall The Musical together when we were in high school. He was Cat in The Hat and I was the lead Wickersham Brother. While we were in the show together I never really talked to him, or hung out with him outside the show. I even tried to get him and my friend to go out. Our interactions were minimal. Flash forward two years and he asks me to hang out. I say yes thinking it'll be fun to reconnect with an old theatre friend. He ended up confessing his feelings for me and I was not quite prepared. I felt bad, yet we some how ended the hang out (he still calls it a date) on a high note. A couple months later we end up reconnecting one more time and this time I wanted to give it a shot and just have some fun. We went on our first (real) date and that day, I fell in love. In August of 2016 he swore in to the United States Navy. From the very beginning I've been by his side through this incredible journey. I have never met a more selfless, kind, intelligent, funny human being. He truly is my best friend. I cannot wait to see the world with him.

Our First Date

The REAL date

Most first dates I'd ever been on were good, but this first date was PERFECT. We started by going antique shopping. He is a big history buff and vintage anything excites me. We then went to Subway where even to this day he teases how I order my sandwiches. "Three tomato's, ten pickles, two Jalapeno's." Very specific. We took our sandwiches and picnicked outside. Mind you it's beginning of February so it's COLD. We went ice skating, something I had not done in years. We held hands for the first time, shared our first kiss and laughed as we both tried not to bust our butts. Seeing as it was freezing we decided to roast s'mores by the fire pits just outside. We got to know each other, asking tons of questions. The night ended with us sitting in his car singing Broadway show tunes. He conveniently had a ukulele in his back seat and decided to play me a few songs. It's when he played 21 Pilots version of "Can't Help Falling In Love", that I too couldn't help, but to fall in love with him. Not many know the exact moment they find the one. But right then will forever be my favorite moment. The moment I found my person.
