We first met at Saren and Jared Prosser’s house in the fall of 2021. As many of you know, our friend group loves camping and riding side-by-sides at the sand dunes. It was during one of these trips that Grace rode in Kyle’s side-by-side for the first time. She got to hear the famous Yaa Dunes playlist and they spent the whole night chatting. Grace saw Kyle’s epic dance moves, and the rest was history—love at first sight! At the time, Grace was still attending Colorado Mesa University (CMU), while Kyle had just moved back to Montrose, CO, after working in Texas. They both commuted back and forth from Grand Junction to Montrose to see each other. After Grace graduated from CMU in May 2022, she took a job at Montrose Regional Hospital and moved in with Kyle. They lived in Montrose until spring of 2023, when Kyle’s job led them to Salt Lake City, Utah. Their first home was in West Valley, Utah, where they lived for about a year. Then, they made the exciting decision to buy their first house together in Eagle Mountain, Utah, where they now live with their two dogs, Koda (a chocolate lab) and Odin (a Great Pyrenees). In September 2024, Kyle and Grace took a trip to Zion National Park for the weekend. They brought along their camper, and Kyle planned a surprise for Grace—though, as many of you know, she’s not the biggest fan of surprises! This weekend turned out to be even more special than expected: Kyle arranged a helicopter tour of Zion, and the helicopter landed on a mountain overlooking the park. That’s when Kyle got down on one knee, and of course, Grace said YES! In January 2025, Grace and Kyle welcomed their beautiful bundle of joy, Hadlee Ann Fletcher, and they are embracing the joys (and challenges!) of becoming first-time parents. The future Fletcher family can’t wait to celebrate this wedding with all of you—so be sure to bring your dancing shoes! :)
