We met in Santa Rosa, Ca in 2014. Our mutual friends planned a meet-up at a park that spring. We both happened to be there and started texting. We also briefly went to high school together since he graduated a few months before I did. After a month of meeting up and talking we made it official on April 20, 2014.

Tyler had been planning this for a while, all under my nose, but it was a spur of the moment when it happened. We had a trip planned to California later that month and that was when he first decided he was going to propose. The night of the first we had been talking the night away at home and Tyler felt like it was the right time then to pop the question. Needless to say, I'm happy he did because there was a lot of crying involved and I'm thankful nobody witnessed that.
