It wasn’t immediate, but looking back, the signs were all there. We had mutual friends back in high school, but it wasn’t until later that our paths would truly begin to cross. For example, Rebecca went to Chris’s senior prom, but neither of us really noticed the other. The universe wasn’t quite ready to align us.
