We first met at the University of Houston through Greek life and quickly became inseparable. From football games and parties to being each other’s go-to plus-one at weddings and on road trips, our friendship grew into one filled with laughter, loyalty, and countless memories. To us, it was simple: we were just best friends. But God had something far greater in store. Almost a decade later, He turned the friendship everyone teased us about into the love story we never saw coming. The biggest plot twist of our lives was also the most beautiful—realizing that the best friend we could never imagine living without was the one He had chosen for us all along. Now, eleven years later, we step into marriage with grateful hearts, knowing every chapter has been guided by His hand. What began as two college kids just having fun has grown into a promise: to choose each other every day, to laugh through the highs, to hold steady through the lows, and to walk faithfully with God at the center of it all. Our forever starts here—and we can’t wait for the pages still to come.
