It was Cinco de Mayo, and Kelly and his friends went out, little did he know that one of his friends' wives invited her PA school companions to come out. Lauren was one of them. She initially did not want to go out that night due to being exhausted from a long day, but her friends insisted. After a few hours of everyone hanging together that night, Kelly finally found the courage deep inside to approach Lauren and introduce himself. Lauren was glad he did because she was thinking of how cute he was all night long! And things just clicked. Lauren and Kelly spoke for a few hours until everyone headed back to Kelly's friend's house. Lauren and her friends initially didn't go back with the group, and Kelly forgot to ask the most important question. He never got Lauren's number. Kelly was worried that he'd never really get a chance to ask her out that night. Meanwhile, Lauren and her friends were having a great time at silent disco, but her friends noticed that she more so wanted to go back to where the main group was at the house. So, Lauren eventually made her way there, things picked up right where they left off, and that was our serendipitous beginning orchestrated by God. Amen.
