Look guys, we like too many people. We want everyone to have fun and have made room for plus ones accordingly. Unless you want to eat dinner in the parking lot or bathroom stick to what your invite says. We’re at max capacity here.
Only if they are in the wedding! Enjoy a kid-free evening! However, if you are traveling with your kids for the wedding we can recommend some excellent babysitters in the area!
Cocktail attire, please! Dress to impress but be comfortable and ready to dance!
I forget to check my phone even on the laziest days. Please don’t try to contact the bride or groom. We’re booked solid all day. However, since our wedding party has a million people in it, an answer should be just a text away!
Those who are so inclined (and over 21) are welcome to join us for some bar hopping downtown after the reception.
There is private lot right behind the venue!
The Branch at 1501 is old and beautiful. It’s unique features are part of what made us pick it for our big day. It has a large loft where much of the dinner seating will be. There are 2 steep staircases to the upper level. However, we have taken into account mobility restrictions for our friends and family and planned seating accordingly. If you need lower level seating for any reason, please contact Lydia or Nick before the wedding and we will make sure you are seated comfortably. If you need any additional assistance we have 10 strapping young men in our wedding party who would happily assist you to your seat—just let us know!
Not exactly. There will be a break for about an hour and a half so that the venue can reset seating for dinner and so that the wedding party and immediate family can take pictures. During this break, feel free to take a rest at your hotel or home, or check out our suggestions for things to do in the area! We recommend getting coffee or a drink at one of the many amazing cafes and restaurants in downtown Racine.
It is very important to us that our family and friends are present and in the moment with us as we say “I do.” Please kindly turn off all phones and cameras during the ceremony. We promise to share our photos after the big day!
