Jordan and Tyler’s story started the summer of 2017. Tyler had been living in Dallas for about a year. He moved from the small town of Otsego, Michigan to start his career in business, selling commercial furniture. Jordan had just moved back home to Dallas for a summer interior design internship with a furniture dealership, as she was focused on finishing college. Little did they know that their lives would change on day 1 of her internship. Only after a few hours at work, Jordan looked up from her desk to see an extremely good-looking guy (yes, Tyler) walking over to greet her. They occasionally talked at work, but nothing more than the casual "hi, how are you?" It wasn't until the end of Jordan’s internship that Tyler realized she wasn't an 18-year-old high school intern, but a 5th year college student (whoops). It was then he did what any millennial romantic would do…he messaged her on Facebook messenger. "Are you going out in Dallas tonight?" And so it began. They ended up meeting at a local Dallas bar a week later with a few friends. In that crazy loud, smelly bar, they talked for hours about anything and everything. Tyler then asked to finish their conversation over dinner the following week. They quickly realized on that first date how much they had in common. They both had a desire for adventure, had similar goals and life aspirations, were very close to their families, and above all put God first. They both knew this was something very special and Jordan even told her sister after their date she was going to marry that man. It’s amazing when someone walks into your life and suddenly, there, right in front of you, is everything you’ve ever needed.
