Our wedding dress code is Black Tie Optional / Formal. We invite you to dress elevated, elegant, and polished, leaning more formal than casual. Attire: Floor-length gowns, formal midi or maxi dresses, chic jumpsuits, tuxedos, or dark suits with a tie or bow tie are all perfect choices. When in doubt, it’s better to be slightly overdressed. Colors: Please avoid white and cream. We love jewel tones, soft pastels, warm neutrals, metallics, and black. Fabrics: Think luxurious, formal materials—silk, satin, chiffon, velvet, organza, or structured suiting. We recommend avoiding very casual fabrics like linen, cotton, or khaki.
Early May in Denver is usually chilly, with average highs in the 60s-70s°F and lows in the 40s°F. However, unseasonably warm or cold (snowy) weather is normal in Colorado, so keep an eye on the weather forecast before you leave! We suggest bringing layers such as a formal coat, wrap, or shawl that complements your look.
