Ana Dominguez

Maid of Honor

Who Ana is: Lifetime friend starting in 3rd grade, and is such a sweet friend who is loyal, kind, and knows how to take the best photos. I love growing with her and seeing how God uses and shapes her in all areas of life. Funniest story: Starting in 5th grade, Ana and I had a mime routine in our school's talent show. In 7th grade, we perfected our mime skills and had a full choreographed scene with a balloon. Unfortunately, the balloon popped unexpectedly halfway through and we had to heavily improvise. Little embarrassing in the moment, but so funny to look back on.

Joshua Song

Best Man

When I first met Connor, he was an emotional guy--he cried everyday. It was kind of exhausting, to be honest. He was illiterate too; what a shame! Physically, he was a small guy (11 pounds) and couldn't talk (what a dummy). He was completely dependent on the goodwill of those around him and had zero marketable skills. Not much has changed in the last 26 years, but he's pretty good at reading now!

Josalyn Cao

Bridesmaid

Who Josalyn is: My college roommate of 2 years, and one of the most pivotal people when it came to my sanctification throughout college. All you need to do is look at how she cares for people and how she spends her days, and you are already encouraged. Funniest story: There's so many funny moments. Besides our multiple failed attempts to catch bugs in our apartment or Josalyn creating a beautifully edited Stranger Things poster with our faces on it, I'd say it would be when we passed pumpkins around our apartment complex to others who went to our San Diego church while blasting Halloween music with Camila.

Elijah Hahm

Groomsman

I don't remember meeting Connor. He kind of just spawned in somehow. Or I did. One way or another he was there.

Lauren Hale

Bridesmaid

Who Lauren is: One of my closest friends ever since 2nd grade, and if you know Lauren, you know she loves hard. You feel an embrace that's hard to describe in words, but she will find all the ways to love you and show that she prioritizes you in life whether its in person or thousands of miles away. Funniest story: We were fresh out of high school on a little road trip to visit Jenna Klotzle (we slept in her car and I probably had the best sleep of my life). On our way back home, I may have misdirected her the wrong way down the mountain, and anyone who knows Hume knows that you should never take the back route. I refused to let her look at the map because the road switchbacks made it look like a fly's trail. Beautiful views though!

Jenna Klotzle

Bridesmaid

Who Jenna is: Another lifelong friend from junior high, but we technically met in Kindergarten T-ball. She is a huge influence in my life and over all these years has shown me how to be consistently, sacrificially intentional with friendships. Funniest story: When we were in junior high, we begged our parents to let us go to Fright Fest at Six Flags. We finally got them to drive us there, only to realize that it was closed. Nothing really changed when 12 years later, while visiting Lauren Hale in DC, we tried to visit the museum that the movie "Night at the Museum" was at. However, we went to National Museum of American History instead of the National Museum of NATURAL History. Let's just say, we were looking for dinosaurs for 4 hours.

Joshua Flancer

Groomsman

“I remember meeting Connor like it was yesterday. The year was 1776. I had been captured by British forces after I had been discovered as a spy for the revolution. There I was, being led sullenly onto a galleon that would take me to a British prison island. Australia, they called it. But then, like a siren upon ocean, I heard a great “tally ho!” as Connor soared through the air from a sail rope, slicing British soldiers down to size with his cutlass. The old rascal and I have been inseparable ever since. We also were in an acappella group together”

Christina Barlow

Bridesmaid

Who Christina is: Only the best cousin that you could ask for. I love how we have changed our bi-annual dinners with the family to becoming friends as adults and spending time to hang out with each other, and go through this season of engagement together! Funniest story: When we were maybe 7 years old, we were playing in a chicken coup at Christina's grandmas house. Unfortunately, we let a chicken out of the coup and it began to frantically run around. We were panicking. Luckily, Christina's dad helped us rally the chicken back into the coup before anyone else noticed.

Bryan Campos

Groomsman

I met Connor in the Alaskan wilderness, I was just a baby, my parents abandoned me on a tree stump in the middle of the woods and a bear was about to eat me. Connor swooped in, fought off the bear and sustained some minor injuries to his eyes (thus the glasses). He bottle fed me back to health and the rest is history.

Elyse Karsik

Bridesmaid

Elyse: Only the sweetest, most trustworthy friend that makes you feel like her best friend in your first conversation with her. You really only need one meal with her to realize how much wisdom and strength she has from the Lord. Funniest story: We were at our Grace Young Adults retreat and we had some free time. We started playing basketball and I got some basketball court sounds on loop in the background. We worked for a solid 30 minutes on a trick shot, and right when we were about to give up, we finally got it. 30 minutes later. I'm convinced it was the basketball sounds.

Alex Adams

Groomsman

When Connor was moving to San Diego, his older sister's old pastor was worried he would get lost. Naturally, pastor connected him to me, who was then living in Orange County, to show him the ropes of San Diego life. After many promises of meeting up (and only two fulfillments of said promises), I eventually saved up enough to move to San Diego 2 years after Connor did, and he had a room prepared for me. I'm grateful for having a roommate as kind and ministry-minded as Connor. Always blessing his league of legends friends with sweet sweet victories and signing me up to lead community groups at our house. "Let's goooooo" - connor playing games at midnight.
