Dress Code

The Wedding Website of Emily Furfaro and Nathan Stover
Semi-Formal attire requested. For men: A suit is perfect—no tie required (unless you love a tie and want to show it off). For women: Think summer cocktail dresses—dressy, comfortable, and ready to celebrate. A few things to keep in mind as you plan your look: Our celebration takes place on a working farm. You’ll be walking on grass and gravel. Dinner and dancing will happen under a covered barn with a concrete floor. Shoes with block/wide heels (or stylish flats!) that can handle uneven ground will make your night much happier. The bride always brings a comfy backup pair of shoes to special events and wholeheartedly supports anyone who wants to do the same. Color-wise, the farm is surrounded by a beautiful wildflower garden, and we’d love for guests to feel inspired by garden tones. Think soft mauves, muted forest greens, dusty and muted blues, warm earth tones pulled from nature. Think of this as inspiration rather than a firm dress code—make it authentic and comfortable to you.
