How do I RSVP for the Wedding Weekend ?

Answer

Please see the RSVP section of this website and RSVP by JUNE 10, 2019. Each of our wedding weekend are by invitation only so please be sure to RSVP on this website.

Question

I am coming to the Wedding Weekend, when should I plan to arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive in Tallahassee by 3 pm on Friday, June 28, 2019. That will allow you enough time to settle in before attending the Nigerian Friends and Family Dinner, a night featuring highlights from our Nigerian traditional engagement and featuring Nigerian cuisine. If you love or simply just want to try Nigerian food, this is the event not to be missed! Please note that our wedding reception on Saturday will feature western cuisine.

I am traveling from out of town to attend the Wedding Weekend, any travel tips?

Answer

Are kids allowed?

Answer

We welcome children at our Nigerian Friends and Family dinner on Friday evening and at our Wedding Ceremony on Saturday. However, our Wedding Reception will be Adults Only and children under 13 years of age will not be permitted. Childcare for our out of town guests will be provided at the reception venue. We assure you the children will have a great time while you are enjoying our wedding. The venue requires that children of our guests be pre-registered by filling out this form. Thank you for understanding that childcare cannot be provided for children of our guests living in Tallahassee.

Are teenagers allowed at the reception?

Answer

For our guests who have teenagers 13 years and older, please feel free to register them when you RSVP, including for the reception. If you see your name on the RSVP list, but do not see your teenager's name, please contact the couple directly so that we can add your teenager.

What should I wear to the Wedding Weekend?

Answer

We welcome you to wear whatever you are comfortable with, here are just our suggestions for attire: Friday's Nigerian Friends and Family Dinner - Nigerian/African attire or semi-formal attire is welcome but not required. Saturday Wedding Ceremony and Reception - Wedding Aso Ebi or semi-formal summer wedding attire in our wedding colors (Fuchsia, Royal Purple and Navy Blue) is suggested but not required. Sunday Thanksgiving Service - Sunday church attire is suggested.

I'm going on vacation in Florida before or after the wedding, what airport should I fly into?

Answer

We're getting married in the summer in Florida so we know some of our guests may want to plan a vacation before or after our wedding. Please check the "Travel" section of this website for our travel tips and feel free to contact us as you are making your travel plans. We will answer questions or help wherever we can.

I'm taking the family to Disney World/Orlando after the wedding, any tips for planning?

Answer
