Can I bring a plus one?

To stay within our venue’s capacity, we’re only able to accommodate the guests whose names are listed on each invitation or under your RSVP. We truly appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate together!

What is the dress code?

We invite you to dress your best with us for our celebration! Consider elegant summer dresses, suits, or your favorite shirt and tie. Think fun, bright, summery colors! We can’t wait to see everyone looking fabulous!

What time should I arrive at the church?

Answer

Please plan to arrive no later than 1:15 so our Wedding Mass can begin promptly at 1:30. Be sure to allow extra time for parking, as parking directly connected to the church is limited. However, there is plenty of available space along the streets near the Church.

Where will the ceremony and reception be held?

Answer

Our ceremony will be at our home parish, The Basilica of St. Mary of the Assumption, in Lancaster. Our reception will follow at the Old Blue Rooster Event Center!

What time should I arrive at the reception venue?

Answer

Our cocktail hour will begin at 4:30 pm, following a brief gap after our ceremony. The venue is about a 25 minute drive from downtown Lancaster. Come ready to party! Dinner will begin between 5:30 and 6:00

What’s the policy on phones?

Answer

Please keep your phone silenced during our ceremony, but do not hesitate to grab pictures and videos throughout the day. We are excited to relive the memories from your POV. We do kindly remind all guests to respect the space of our photographer and videographer as they capture the day.

- The Old Blue Rooster Holds a liquor license with the state of Ohio, so they are obligated to enforce a no outside alcohol policy. Please do not bring outside alcohol to the venue, we will have plenty of options at the bar!! - The Old Blue Rooster kindly asks for all wedding guests to park facing the venue for the most efficient driving and parking - The Old Blue Rooster welcomes and encourages guests to leave their cars in the lot to be picked up on Sunday, so guests can find a ride if necessary. Drive safe!!
