We're married & it's finally time to celebrate!

While Samantha was finishing up her last few months of college, she accepted a job at Raintree Country Club in Charlotte, NC. She toured the club after receiving her offer and saw a guy she thought was cute. He was talking about watching the movie, the Notebook, with his roommate Will Oldham. Samantha laughed and told him that was weird but sounded like a nice bonding time. Later when she arrived back in Columbia, SC, she told her roommate, Gabby Persinger, that she saw a guy that seemed funny and cute. Fast forward a few months later, Samantha started working in the golf pro shop to gain experience meeting the members at the club. She started spending a lot of time with Chad, the cute guy she met at her interview! He brought her everything bagels toasted with cream cheese in the mornings, Samantha's favorite, and even helped her move furniture in her new apartment. He also watched her dog, Koa, a few times over the weekend. (Chad has a different opinion on this part of the story, so you can ask him his thoughts). One day, Samantha texted Chad and asked what he was doing over Labor Day Weekend. He responded and said, "I'm not watching your dog again!!". Samantha told Chad she wanted to hang out with him, so he took her to a Jason Aldean concert for their first date. Samantha hates country music. On another date, he took her to a butcher shop to meet his mom, and she is a vegetarian! Despite this, Samantha and Chad were pretty much inseparable after their first date. They spent every day together that first week....and the rest is history! We are so excited to celebrate with everyone, and we thank each and every one of you who have been with us throughout our journey thus far!
