That’s totally cool, we get it! If you still want to celebrate, we will be having a “Happily Ever After Party” in the months to follow, closer to home, where we will be inviting a larger group of our friends and family. Plans on that TBD 😊
We’re planning for our guests to be with us from Tuesday, June 24th to Friday morning.
If you’ve not yet reserved a room at Hidden Moose Lodge, don’t worry!! We reserved the last few rooms that were available to ensure all guests could stay with us. Our plan is to have those whom haven’t reserved a room, upon check-in, transfer the room onto your own card. If you have any questions please reach out to Alexis :)
Glacier Park International Airport (FCA) in Kallispell, MT is the closest airport. It’s approximately 23 minutes (14 miles) away from Hidden Moose Lodge where we (and we hope you!) will be staying.
Due to the intimate nature of the event and guest limits for our ceremony location, unless Ryan and I have talked with you separately, we ask that you refrain from bringing extra guests.
You will be responsible for your own transportation but we encourage you to coordinate carpooling with other guests as much as possible. Ryan and I plan to be available Tuesday to help coordinate pick ups from the airport to further assist everyone in carpooling❤️
Yes, but we will provide this for you. Apgar Amphitheater is located inside Glacier National Park and will require a park entry pass to enter. The pass is valid for 7 days so we encourage our guests to make the most of their trip and spend a few extra days exploring what Glacier has to offer. ** We will be purchasing these for our guests**
Glacier National Park requires a vehicle reservation pass when traveling West to East on Going to the Sun Road (GTTSR) between 7 am and 3 pm. * Those planning to explore GTTSR after our ceremony/celebration picnic will NOT need a vehicle reservation pass. * Those planning to hike to Avalanche Lake on Thursday 6/26 will need a vehicle pass to access GTTSR. Reach out to Alexis with any questions. For more information about GNP Vehicle Reservations visit: https://www.nps.gov/glac/planyourvisit/vehicle-reservations.htm
By mid June, Glacier National Park's average daytime temperature start to feel a bit more like summer with temperatures in the 70's and 80's. Higher altitudes mean chillier temps so if you’re planning to explore bring a jacket! June is also one of Montanas wettest months so be prepared for rain. We will be passing out clear umbrellas if rain is expected during our ceremony, but a rain jacket is also advisable.
Formal separates, dressy jumpsuits, cocktail dresses and suits. Please no jeans or T-shirts. It still may be a bit chilly this time of year, so bring something warm to wear as the ceremony and picnic are outside.
Our photographer is working on a list of different activities to do in the area, as soon as we get it we’ll share it here 😊 - Kayaking - White water rafting - Bike the Going To The Sun Road - Horseback riding - Boat ride on Lake McDonald - Scenic ski lift ride at Whitefish Mountain Resort - Shopping in Whitefish -
