Dan and I have put much thought into how best to prioritize the safety of our guests, and have decided to ask that all wedding guests please get tested for Covid within 72 hours of the wedding. We understand this is an inconvenience, and we wouldn't make this request if we didn’t think it was the very best way to keep this event safe. In addition, the venue is a very large space- there will be plenty of space for guests to spread out. Dinner will be served as plated meals, so no standing in a buffet line. Lastly, If anyone feels they just aren't comfortable attending the wedding, please know that we absolutely understand and respect that decision.
CVS & Walgreens locations around Duluth & Superior offer free rapid testing (results within 24 hrs), just go to their websites to schedule an appointment. https://www.walgreens.com/findcare/covid19/testing https://www.cvs.com/minuteclinic/covid-19-testing/covid-assessment The DECC has a free testing site that does both rapid testing and saliva testing where your results can be emailed in 24-48 hours. Walk-ups are accepted, but you can make an appointment at the link below to avoid any potential lines. Please contact Anna or Dan with questions/concerns/help finding a test. https://decc.org/blog/2020/09/30/covid-19-community-saliva-testing/
We will not be verifying test results, we simply ask that you stay home if you have a positive test or if you are symptomatic with a fever, cough, or new loss of taste/smell.
We will have masks available at the entrance for those who would feel more comfortable wearing a mask. We encourage anyone who is unvaccinated or who is otherwise more vulnerable to contracting Covid to wear a mask and to social distance in order to better protect themselves.
