Question

Is the ceremony and reception at the same location?

Answer

NO! We've changed our wedding location! The Ceremony will be at Holy Redeemer Church with the reception in Ashland Kentucky which is about a 40 minute drive. There is no cocktail hour in between, but we provided suggestions of things to do.

Where do I park at the Reception Venue?!

Answer

There are 2 ways to enter the Highlands Museum: 1. Enter the parking garage from 17th Street and drive up to the 6th floor of the garage. Height of the garage is 6ft 4inches. Walk through the double doors straight into the venue (do not take the elevator). You will see a blue sign on the ceiling that says "Highlands Museum Venue". You MUST be out of the parking garage by midnight. 2. Park on Winchester Avenue at the slanted parking spaces. Enter at the front of the building through the double doors, diagonally to the right to the elevator. Take the elevator to the 4th floor. 3. If you have a tall vehicle/truck (above 6ft 4inches), you need to enter the bottom level of the parking garage from Carter Ave and park at the bank under the garage. Then take the elevator to the 6th floor.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! We prefer our guest dress is cocktail attire. The men would wear a suit, fun spring shirt. Women would wear a fun spring floral or cocktail dress, knee length or longer. Make sure you are able to dance the night away with us!! Please no jeans.

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

Yes we do! We are using myregistry.com for our items. You can select an item, purchase it online or in person, then go to the item and click "I purchased this". You can have the gift shipped to our house or wrap it to bring to the wedding.

Is there a shuttle from the hotel to the venue?

Answer

No, there will not be a shuttle from the hotel to the ceremony/reception venue called Sugar Valley Country Club. Let us know if we can help you find someone to ride with.

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Your invitation should indicate if a plus one was accounted for. If you are requesting a plus one, please contact 219-802-2602.
