Antelope Island, the largest island in the Great Salt Lake, is accessed via a 7.2-mile causeway. It’s about a 1.5-hour drive north of Salt Lake City, making it perfect for a day trip. There is unique variety of wildlife including Bison.
The building itself is gorgeous—built to blend with the mountains. Inside, you’ll find hands-on exhibits, dinosaurs, gems, and more. Great for kids and adults, and the views from the museum are amazing too. Definitely worth a visit!
