Emily Chang

Maid of Honor

Emily (aka Bean) and Jade met 2 days before Bean’s birthday in 2014. They met at Olivia’s birthday celebration at Angel’s Share Whisky Bar, Hong Kong. Little did Jade know, this would become a pivotal and irreplaceable friendship. When Jade missed work due to feeling unwell, sleeping at home, and did not reply to WhatsApp messages, Bean took a taxi to Jade’s home and rang the doorbell to ensure she was safe and okay. Once Jade answered the door, Bean was relieved, hopped back on the cab to her office, and continued her IB work. They enjoyed dining at various Michelin Star restaurants, including Caprice on Jade’s birthday, and checking out new cocktail bars together, especially during the week. As the saying goes, “Rare as is true love, true friendship is rarer.”
