Drinks on the Hill Thursday night will be casual. Come as you are! Nantucket does get chilly at night, so come prepared! The event will be on the grass at the Barnes Property. For the Welcome Party on Friday, we recommend Cocktail attire. The event will be at the Brant Point Grill, inside the White Elephant Hotel. The Ceremony will be held at St. Paul's Church at 2:00 PM. Please feel free to wear Church attire or Cocktail attire. The Reception will be held at Sankaty Golf Club and is Black Tie.
We know there is a break between the ceremony and reception. We want to offer a list of places for people to go to hang out in between: Sister Ship Restaurant (29 Centre St, Nantucket, MA 02554) The Tree Bar (6 Oak St #3527, Nantucket, MA 02554) Brotherhood of Thieves (23 Broad St, Nantucket, MA 02554) Ethos Wine Bar & Bistro (18 Broad St, Nantucket, MA 02554)
On the wedding day, there is parking available at St. Paul's Church. The church is located in town and within walking distance of most hotels. Limited transportation will be available to Sankaty Golf Club at 4:30 PM at St. Paul's Church. Plenty of parking is available at Sankaty Golf Club.
Nantucket is a small island located 30 miles off the coast and is only accessible via air or ferry. It is best to plan any travel ahead of time in case of weather implications. We recommend guests stay Thursday-Sunday to ensure any travel hiccups/ferry cancellations due to weather. JetBlue provides seasonal service from Boston (BOS), New York City (LGA & JFK), and Washington National (DCA) to Nantucket (ACK). American Airlines provides seasonal service from New York City (LGA), Philadelphia (PHL) and Washington-National (DCA) to Nantucket (ACK) Delta Airlines provides seasonal service from New York City (LGA & JFK) to Nantucket (ACK) We do recommend traveling to Nantucket via Ferry You can travel to Nantucket by Ferry from Hyannis, MA with either The Steamship Authority or Hy-Line Cruises. The Steamship & Hy-Line provide multiple daily trips via their high-speed passenger ferries, getting you to the island in only an hour! Additionally, they provide on site or easily accessible (via a free provided shuttle) parking lots for your vehicles. Reservations are required for all ferry services. If you plan to travel with your vehicle, car reservations for 2025 become available in January. It is recommended to plan in advance if you wish to bring a car. We really appreciate the time and effort it will take to get to the island and cannot wait to see you all there!
Due to limited capacity at the venue, all invitations were sent directly to attendees. While we would love to have your children join us, we have decided to make our welcome party, ceremony, and reception for adults 21 years of age and older only. If you are looking for assistance with childcare, we recommend looking into NannyTucket or Nantucket Babysitters.
If you are looking to rent a car to get around the island, you can book through a few different rental companies. We recommend doing this if you plan to stay for more than just the weekend to explore the island.
