About Us

First comes school, then comes marriage

We started dating a week before our freshman year of college after months of phone calls, texts, and video chatting. It didn't take long for us to be all in - we were best friends first. Ryan said just a week after dating, "I know this sounds crazy, but I'm going to marry you one day." Freshman year blended into senior when we found ourselves planting roots and immersing ourselves in our friends and families as those too started to mix into one. Ryan wanted to propose on Carroll's football field, a place that held so many dear memories. When his eligibility ended, that dream started to fade. Graduation came and went, along with nights that were spent talking about our students and our dreams. Ryan started coaching at a local high school and my first year teaching began. On September 28th, Ryan's team played against a school that used a different location for their games - this team played at Carroll's field. Before the game started, I met Ryan on the sidelines like we do for most games. He was all smiles and soon, he asked me to marry him. We were met by family and friends as this new chapter in our lives began. We've been in love with each other's craziness since that first week of freshman year.
