Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Sam Fruzzetti and Lauren Cucarola
Marin County and the greater Bay Area is pretty much the most beautiful place in the world. Redwood trees, rolling hills, soaring vistas, cool rocks - it's a very special place. While Marin County itself is bursting with quaint towns and natural beauty, it is also super close to Sonoma and Napa wine counties to the Northeast and San Francisco to the South - incredible places in their own right! There are so many wonderful things to do and see in the area, if you can swing taking a few extra days off for a full vacation it's totally worth it!
Point Reyes National Seashore

Point Reyes Station is an adorable little town at the gateway to the Point Reyes National Seashore. Point Reyes is a stunningly gorgeous national park with amazing hiking, solid Bay Area beaches, biking and kayaking, a lighthouse, and if you're lucky you might see an elephant seal or some tule elk.

Muir Woods National Monument

Mill Valley, CA 94941

Have we mentioned that we love redwood trees? If you've never seen them, this is the place. Pro-tip: you need to reserve parking in advance of your visit, and there's no cell service in the park.

Sonoma County

Sonoma County

Sonoma, CA

Sonoma County is a local favorite for wine-tasting, a little closer to the Bay Area than Napa. Start in extremely charming Petaluma for shopping and snacks, then head out to some of Sonoma's hidden gem wineries.

Napa Valley

Napa Valley

Napa, CA

Napa Valley Wine Country! What more can we say, there's a lot of good wine to taste out here.

Golden Gate Bridge

Golden Gate Bridge

Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco, CA

You can walk across it! Very cool!

Golden Gate Park

Golden Gate Park

San Francisco, CA
, (415) 831-2700

Sprawling park in San Francisco that houses several attractions including the de Young Museum, California Academy of Sciences, and Lauren's favorite: the Japanese Tea Garden
