Is there a dress code?

Answer

Formal Attire: We'd love to see you in your finery — think full-length dresses, elegant midi styles, and suits or tailored ensembles.

When should I book my accommodations?

Answer

We recommend booking your accommodations sooner rather than later. Our hotel block cut off date is a month prior to the wedding. You can find the links to our hotel blocks and other travel details on the "Travel" page.

Will there be parking at the venue?

Answer

The Barn at the Bog has an ample sized parking lot. Please make sure you utilize the lot by the Barn, as there is another wedding in the clubhouse that will utilize the clubhouse parking lot!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we love your lil' hooligans, let this be a night off for you as parents. Young adults are welcome if they are listed on the invitation. Please let us know if you’d like assistance securing a sitter, Shannon’s sisters are happy to share their trusted babysitting contacts.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

If it's anything like October 17th in 2025, it will be LOVELY! However, it's best to be as prepared as possible with a sweater, jacket, or wrap. The ceremony is outside, and the cocktail hour is on the covered patio.

Will there be transportation?

Answer

A shuttle will provide guests staying at our recommended hotels blocks with transportation to and from the wedding venue. Service will begin approximately 45 minutes prior to the ceremony, with continuous return trips starting at 10:00 PM.
