There are two other options that we have found for travelers! If you can find a flight into Columbia South Carolina, it should only take you about two hours to drive into Folly Beach, SC. There is also the option to find a flight into Savannah Georgia. From there it should also take you about two hours to drive into Folly Beach, SC. Of course these options will require a rental car from the airport. Both these options are very similar to finding flights into Myrtle Beach SC.
