We hope you can celebrate our special day with us, but understand if you cannot make it. The RSVP deadline is July 6, 2019, but please feel free to let us know before then!
We are asking our guests to be present with us during the ceremony. Please leave all phones, tablets and cameras in your cars or turned off during the ceremony. Our photographer and videographer will be capturing the ceremony and we will be happy to share photos with anyone who wishes to have them.
There is no cell phone reception in Tillamook State Forest and there are no pay phones near the wedding venue. Please factor this into your plans for the wedding day and prearrange for any transportation you might need to/from the wedding before arriving.
Semi-formal attire, please. Since the ceremony and reception take place in a nature setting with varied terrain, we recommend flats or wedges to avoid shoe-related catastrophes.
We would love to be able to include everyone, however due to the venue’s capacity limitations, we are only able to accommodate guests formally invited on the invitations.
The ceremony begins at 3:30 p.m. We kindly ask guests to arrive at least 10 - 15 minutes prior to the ceremony’s start. We recommend planning for enough time to park and walk to the ceremony site.
Definitely! We will be serving wine and beer, as well as non-alcoholic beverages. Our wonderful bartender would appreciate any tips you decide to bestow upon him. Please note that hard liquor is not allowed on the premises of our venue. Please arrange for transportation with a responsible driver or plan to use a taxi if you will be imbibing.
Please see the Registry section of our website: https://www.zola.com/wedding/frostcaton/registry
The ceremony and reception will take place at the Smith Homestead Forest Learning Shelter In Tillamook State Forest: https://bit.ly/2VCcizX. If you do not plan to drive to the venue, please see the Travel page for local taxi information: https://www.zola.com/wedding/frostcaton/travel. Please note Uber and Lyft do not operate in the area of the wedding venue and as there is no cell phone reception in the forest, any taxis you might need should be scheduled prior to arriving at the wedding.
Parking is available at the Forest Learning Shelter. Parking is limited and we cannot reserve spaces for wedding guests so we encourage guests who can to carpool. Additional parking is available at the Jones Creek Day Use Area, which is located across the river from the wedding venue. Spaces marked for 15 minute parking may not be used for longer than the specified time period. Large vehicles (buses/RVs) must park in RV spaces and may not occupy more than one space each. We thank you in advance for honoring the forest's parking policies.
Smith Homestead, Tillamook, OR 97141. There is no street address as it is in the middle of the state forest, but if you type the above address into Google Maps, you will be directed to the venue.

Appetizers and dinner will be served during the reception.
Please let us know about any food-related allergies or dietary restrictions when you RSVP. We will do our best to accommodate your situation.
The ceremony will take place outdoors and the reception will be at the Forest Learning Shelter, which is indoors with an open patio.
The average high for Tillamook, OR for this week of the year is about 86 degrees and the average low is 51 degrees. Sunset on August 10, 2019 is about 8:30 p.m., so the sun will be out for the majority of the wedding, so we expect it to be on the warmer side. We will post more detailed weather forecasts in the Travel section as it gets closer to the wedding date.
