DC Adventures

There is so much to do in the DMV area, here are a few of our favorite spots.

National Museum of African American History and Culture

1400 Constitution Avenue Northwest, Washington, DC 20560

NOTE: This Museum is FREE BUT you have to reserve a time slot to visit and show your reservation tickets for entry. So, plan ahead, the time slots sell out fast!

Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History

10th St. & Constitution Avenue Northwest, Washington, DC 20560

FREE with no tickets required.

E.C. Pops

3709 Old Columbia Pike, Ellicott City, MD 21043
, (410)988-5179

E.C. POPS is one of our favorite places to go with our kids. You get to taste test some exotic popcorn flavors. Old Ellicott is a vibe in itself. For parking you would drive straight past E.C. Pops to the traffic light and turn left at the light. You drive a little ways down and the public parking entrance is on your left. I would drive slowly because the parking entrance is easy to miss. Park your vehicle and enjoy the scenery, I recommend that you go in the afternoon time while all the other shops are open as well! :)

Ben's Chili Bowl

1213 U Street Northwest, Washington, DC 20009

Black Owned Chili Restaurant. This location can be a vibe as well, in the heart of "Chocolate City!"
