Lauren and Scott met as freshman at Sacred Heart High School. Scott had left behind his planner in the cafeteria, and Lauren made sure it got to him in time for their Honors English class. Two years of friendship later, he asked her to the Victory Dance. She offered an awkward high-five, then an apologetic hug, and they ultimately had an amazing date - the first of many!

Scott planned an elaborate surprise proposal in Atlanta. With the help of his sister Mandi, her husband Mike, and close friends Jon Caporaso and Sam DiMauro, he popped the question at the end of an escape room. It was perfectly imperfect - he forgot to put the ring on her finger, and she knelt down too after saying "Yes!" (of course)
