We’re so excited to celebrate our special day with you!

They met in Tallahassee on a random Friday night out with friends. While singing Holy Grail, Ashley's nail struck Cody in the face. Ashley will never concede this was on purpose, but a few short moments after this accidental striking, the two were dancing the night away. As they both got to know each other better, Cody met Ashley's chihuahua, Daisy. Since Ashley would be at work for most of the day, Cody offered to take care of her. That was the end of that! Between Cody and Daisy, who fell in love with who first is debatable, but needless to say he is now her favorite, with Ashley only a close second. Things progressed from daily dog watching, to Cody and Ashley moving in together four months after meeting. You know that saying, "when you know, you know?" Fast forward the two graduated from Florida State University and moved across the state to Jacksonville to start law school. While in law school, Ashley and Cody participated in Moot Court and were on the Law Review board together. Ashley and Cody graduated from law school in May of 2018. Shortly thereafter, they passed the Bar exam on their first attempt. On September 20, 2018, Ashley and Cody were sworn in as Florida licensed attorneys in the Duval County Courthouse. After the stress of three years culminated into the most exciting moment, Cody had to take advantage. As the two walked out of the Courthouse, Cody dropped down on one knee and proposed to Ashley, who was caught unassuming and surprised. With no hesitation, Ashley exclaimed, "YES!" Since then, Ashley and Cody have started their professions and grown their love as well as understanding for one another. Along the way, they added another member to the family, a loving corgi named Jameson. This now family of four is so excited to include all of you in the next, and most important step, in their journey. Thank you for being a part of their special day!
