By faith, Diego moved to Los Angeles from Visalia, CA in 2013. He never would have thought that four years later he would be united with his soon-to-be wife. Believe it or not, the first time that he ever saw Janissa was through a photo on her sister's Instagram. Since that moment Diego knew that he would someday marry her. In 2015, Janissa moved from Michigan to Los Angeles to embark on a new journey to which God was calling her. Little did she know that Diego was already expecting her and making plans to date her. When Janissa first showed her face at Oasis Church in Los Angeles, Diego did not hesitate to let her know that he was definitely (and desperately) interested in her. Fast forward a year and a half later during their vacation in Visalia, CA Diego knew it was time to take things one step further. On Sunday, February 19, 2017 he got on one knee and asked her if she would spend the rest of her life with him. Matthew 6:33 says "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." As Diego and Janissa sought after God, He would eventually bring their paths together and someday unite them to be one. Sometimes the most incredible stories are the ones we don't even plan but happen by faith ♥️
