When Robert and Dominique first met, they instantly intimidated each other. They were impressed by one another’s personality, sense of humor, knowledge, and relaxed energy. The commonalities between them are the cornerstone to their relationship. They are both understanding listeners, hopeless romantics, respect everyone equally, value quality time and have an amazing relationship with their parents. They rapidly became best friends and after two years, are finally wed! They are currently residing in Canton, GA with Robert’s parents, saving up money for their first home. They hope to start a family of their own in the next few years! Friends and Families: Dominique and Robert chose to have an intimate courthouse wedding in Marietta, Georgia. They look forward to meeting you together as Mr. and Mrs. Morrow over the upcoming holidays.
These two always had open discussions about being married. It was a planned surprise. Since Dominique is a jeweler, of course he worked with her to get her the diamond of her dreams. That left the rest up to the perfect timing. Here is Robert’s perpective: It is our last day skiing in Park City Utah and I know I wanted to do it on this trip. So I take her into the center of the mountain village with the Rockies Mountains as our backdrop and proceed to hand her my phone because writing out what I want to say is so much easier for me than just coming out and saying it. She looks at me like, really you want me to read this on your phone, and I just nod. When she is about done... I get down on one knee in the middle of town as I read the last lines of my letter, “Dominique Sotillo, will you do me the honor of completing me as my other half? Will you marry me?” Of course, she makes me wait a minute which felt like an hour before saying yes. I will never forget it!
