Island Lake Lodge

The entire wedding will be happening at Island Lake Lodge, from Friday night to Sunday morning. If you choose to stay at the lodge, your food for the weekend is included in the price (Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast and lunch, Sunday breakfast). Island Lake Lodge is located roughly 25 minutes from downtown Fernie. PACKAGE PRICES (based on double occupancy for two nights including food, gratuity, and taxes): Red Eagle Lodge (standard room): $850 Cedar Lodge (deluxe): $989 Tamarack Lodge (deluxe): $989 Additional adult (13+) in room: $291 Additional child (3-12) in room: $156 **Due to the limited number of rooms at the lodge, single guests will be paired with a friend. Travel Note

Road Trip

Fernie is about a 10 hour drive from Vancouver. Osoyoos is half way and a great spot to stop if you want to break up the drive. There are also numerous campsites along the way if you want a budget-friendly option (we've stopped at Nancy Greene Provincial Park before, near Christina Lake). If you wish to continue on after Fernie, Banff/Lake Louise is about 4 hours away. If you're planning on adventuring there, be sure to book accommodation/campsites as early as possible. Campsite registration opens in January.

Flight

Cranbrook Airport (YXC)

If you choose to fly, Cranbrook is the closest airport (one hour away). WestJet, Air Canada, and Pacific Coastal all have flights there from YVR.
