DAY TOURS - Guatape & El Penol, Jardin, Rio Claro, etc.
We are working with EC Transportes and our hotel, York Luxury, to provide you a list of tours available and facilitate registration for you and your group. EC tours allows you to book a private tour (just you and your guests) or a larger tour, to include other (but only) members of the wedding party. Price will vary but will usually be cheaper if you opt for a larger tour group. El Botanico
If you're looking for a delicious dinner, yummy drinks and great ambiance, we highly recommend you check out El Botanico. You can come to grab a drink at the bar or choose to stay for dinner. If the latter, we recommend ordering the Pulpo Brasas (Grilled Octopus) as an appetizer and the Spaghettini Trufa Negra as an entrée. We recommend you make a reservation (using their website link below) as it does get busy at night!
Alambique
For a fun and chill lunch spot, we recommend Alambique. The atmosphere and view of the mountains are 2 reasons worth going but the juices, shrimp tacos and chicharrones are 2 reasons worth staying. The plates are meant to be shared so plan on going there hungry and with a friend! We were able to walk in without a reservation during the day but we do recommend making a reservation if you plan to go in the evening.
Olivia Pizzeria
Delicious Pizza and Sangria. Tis all.
Cocina Peruana - Rocoto
For great Peruvian food and even better pisco sours, we recommend checking out Rocoto. You'll definitely want to make a reservation (we went on a Wednesday and it was packed at 7pm). Highly recommend the Coconut Pisco Sour (10/10) and the Atun de la Case as your main course!
Mosquito Bar
Rooftop bar with a great view of the city and playing the best jams. The drinks were delicious and they do serve late night snacks. Warning: it is a tiny rooftop bar with mostly bar seating and a few scattered tables!
La Deriva
Large and fun rooftop bar on the top floor of the Click Clack Hotel! Top 10 best espresso martinis and oysters available to order. We've always been able to walk in and grab a table by the bar. After 1-2 drinks, you're likely to stay a while!
