We're getting married!

We met at Esopus, a school getaway that occurs for Juniors & Seniors every year. We met through mutual friends. Our friendship quickly bloomed into us becoming best friends, going to each other for everything, and speaking almost everyday. Little did we know what this would, slowly but surely, turn into!

Our first date was your typical teenage date, pizza and a movie. Thrilling, I know! We were both ridiculously nervous but still ended the night with a simple kiss. Going on this date, moving from best friends to something more was the start of something new.

After months of dating but not being official, Johnpaul finally got up the nerve to ask Theresa to be his girlfriend. When did he do this you may ask? The DAY BEFORE he left for vacation for a week. Did Tee want to kill him? Yes. But it outweighed the feelings she had developed for him.

After 9 years of dating, Johnpaul asked Theresa to marry him at her favorite place in the whole world, Lake George. He had her best friend there and her family surrounding her immediately after he asked. She could not have imagined a better proposal in her whole life. She said yes, of course! We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with you. See you in November, 2023.
