What is the dress code?

Answer

Black Tie Optional Women: Ladies need to stay in a formal mindset while shopping, but can get away with anything from a full-length gown, to a cocktail dress. Men: Tux or a dark business suit and dress shoes.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding ceremony and reception will be inside, however, there will be an opportunity to go outside for cocktail hour.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #FromHersheyToHarris so we can keep track of all of your pictures!

Both the ceremony and the reception will be at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club. Address: 500 Marina Club Rd, Stevensville, MD 21666

Guests will head straight to cocktail hour.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive an hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

We have room blocks at the Hilton Garden Inn, Kent Island and Holiday Inn Express Annapolis, East-Kent Island. For additional information about the hotels, please visit our Travel tab.

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?
