FAQs

The Wedding Website of Mayra Salas and William Dabney
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by September 1, 2026, so we can share the final headcount with our caterer. Your timely response helps us make sure there’s plenty of food, drinks, and fun waiting for everyone.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Plan to arrive by 3:30 PM to snag a good spot (plenty of parking in the garage!). The doors will close right at 4:00 PM—no late entries. Show up on time and we’ll have a glass of champagne waiting for you!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If you’d like to bring a date, please let me know so I can include them in the food headcount. The reception kicks off at 7:00 PM—perfect timing if your guest just wants to join for dancing, drinks, and a good old-fashioned party!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The attire is cocktail. For the ladies, think knee-length or midi cocktail dresses, jumpsuits, or a chic skirt-and-top combo. For the gentlemen, a suit or dress slacks with a blazer and tie is just right. Feel free to add some personality with color, prints, or accessories to keep it fun and festive! We kindly ask that guests avoid casual wear like jeans, t-shirts, shorts, or sneakers.

Question

What kind of food will be served?

Answer

🍴What's on the Menu?🍴 We’re serving up love, laughter, and some seriously delicious bites. Here’s a sneak peek at what’s coming to your plate: ⭐️ Starters to Get You Going ⭐️ • Chicken & Waffle Sliders (yes, you read that right!) • Mac & Cheese Bites (tiny but mighty) • Garden or Caesar Salad (for the veggie lovers) • Shrimp & Grits (Southern comfort in a spoonful) 🍽️ Main Event: Entrées 🍽️ • Southern-Style Fried Chicken (crispy, golden, glorious) • Salmon with Lemon Dill Sauce (fresh and fancy) • Garlic Mashed Potatoes (creamy dreams) • Green Beans (snappy and seasoned) • Southern Fried Cabbage (a soulful sidekick) 🍰 Sweet Endings 🍰 We’re going all out with a dessert table stacked with cookies, cupcakes, and—wait for it—a donut wall. Yes, a wall. Of donuts. You're welcome. Got dietary restrictions? No worries at all—just give us a heads-up ahead of time and we’ll make sure you’re taken care of

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, kiddos are welcome! We’ve got them covered with their own menu—pizza, burgers, fries from In-N-Out, and plenty of Coke products. For little ones who need a break from the party, there will be a sensory room with charging outlets for devices (a win for kids and parents). If your child has allergies, just let us know—we’ll make sure they’re taken care of.

Question

Are you registered?

Answer

While we don’t have a traditional wedding registry, your presence is truly the greatest gift we could ask for. If you feel moved to contribute in another way, we’ve set up a Venmo account for convenience: 💌 https://venmo.com/u/taco_killa84 Thank you for your love, support, and generosity — it means the world to us!

Question

🥂Will there be an open bar!

Answer

Absolutely! The drinks will be flowing and the champagne will be sparkling — especially for those who arrive on time 😉 If you have a favorite drink you’d love to sip on, feel free to bring it along! Our bartender will make sure it’s served just for you. Want to bring your own beverages? Go for it — we welcome it! Since the venue is a community center, we’ll be serving a variety of beers and wines to keep things festive. If you have a specific preference, let us know ahead of time so we can have it ready for you. 🥤 Non-Alcoholic Options We’ve got you covered too! Coke products will be available throughout the night to keep everyone refreshed and happy.

Question

🚭 Smoking & Vaping Policy

Answer

Smoking and vaping are not allowed anywhere on the premises. Security will be present to help ensure this rule is respectfully followed. If you absolutely need to step out for a smoke, no problem — just check in with our wedding coordinator, who will guide you to the designated off-site area. Thanks for helping us keep the celebration fresh and comfortable for everyone!
