We had taken a week off to stay at Drew's family lake house, a place that means so much to us since it was the location of our first trip together. Drew spent six months planning the perfect proposal and pulled it off without me having a clue. After a fun day of boating and swimming, Drew proposed on the boat as we waited for the sunset. When we returned to the dock, our families and some of our closest friends were waiting and cheering us in. The house was decorated, champagne was flowing, and the rest of the week became a rolling celebration as additional friends arrived each day. Every new arrival brought fresh tears and so much joy. It couldn’t have been more perfect!
