Wedding Party

Tony Bui

Officiant

Tony is like an older brother to Mica. They met in Bahrain during a time when Mica was feeling incredibly lonely and homesick. From the start, Tony welcomed her with open arms, included her in every plan, and made sure she never felt alone. He cooked homemade Vietnamese meals that brought her right back to the comfort of home. You know how some people just get each other? That’s Tony and Mica: effortlessly. He calls her “Bánh Bèo” because she doesn’t cook—a nickname she finds endearing. Tony isn’t usually the emotionally expressive type, but every now and then, when the drinks kick in, he’ll let it slip that he loves and misses her. Mica never takes those moments for granted. She admires Tony deeply and is grateful to have him in her life. He has become part of her chosen family.

Teya Hamilton

Maid of Honor

Mica and Teya met in 7th grade at Morrow Middle School. Over the years, they built a real, steady, and lasting friendship. Some of Mica’s favorite memories are from their summers growing up—they’d walk to each other’s houses, do their nails, and experiment with baking. When Mica left for the Navy, Teya mailed her homemade brownies to Mississippi. Teya has always shown up, even from miles away. Mica has watched Teya work hard and achieve so much in her career and is genuinely proud of the woman she’s become. Through moves, time zones, and life changes, they’ve stayed connected. Teya has seen Mica at her lowest and never made her feel small for it. There’s no judgment—just respect, growth, and a friendship that’s remained strong without needing constant upkeep. Teya didn’t hesitate when Mica asked her to be her Maid of Honor, and that meant more to Mica than Teya probably knows. Mica just wants Teya to know how much she values her loyalty and the role she’s played in her life all these years. She couldn’t imagine this day without Teya by her side.

Ellie Rojas

Flower Girl

Ellie is Mica’s little best friend. They love spending time together doing crafts, especially painting. Their time together gives Mica a glimpse into what it might be like to be a mom one day. Ellie teaches her patience, reminds her to be carefree, and inspires a sense of adventure and creativity in everything they do.

Khobo

Ring Bearer

Khobo is the Hoang family's newest addition! He's such a lovable Corgi. He’s currently in training, so if he doesn’t quite make it all the way down the aisle on the big day, please forgive him. :) He’s still just a puppy, but we couldn’t imagine celebrating without him!

For all the days along the way
