Black Bear Casino Resort

There is not much around this area, but it is the closest hotel to the farm and has food and drink. We have a block of hotel rooms under Finke/Bangerter. This is the only hotel we will offer a shuttle service for those who do not wish to drive. Email annacfinke@gmail.com if you would like a lift! (Please be aware our "shuttle" is a van that seats 6 comfortably, so be prepared for an early time slot depending on amount of people interested.)

Duluth Hotels

Duluth is the biggest city in the area and about a 30-40 minute drive from the farm. This is your best bet if you want to be near restaurants, breweries, etc.

Flight

DLH vs MSP

Duluth and Minneapolis are the two airports to choose from. MSP is often a little cheaper but the drive is about 2 hours to Carlton, 2.5 to Duluth. The Duluth airport is about 40 minutes to the farm.

You will need a car to navigate to the farm, we are too rural for cabs!

Travel Note

Airport Shuttle

There is a shuttle that runs from MSP. If you plan on sharing a rental car with someone who gets in at a different time this may be a good option. They stop in Scanlon, which is close to Black Bear, and in Duluth.
