What is a Crag Rat Hut?

Answer

The Crag Rat Hut is the official clubhouse of the Crag Rats, America's oldest mountain rescue organization. Founded in 1926, the Crag Rats are an all-volunteer, non-profit group that provides mountain rescue services on Mt. Hood and throughout the Columbia River Gorge.

When should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP by June 1, 2026 so we can finalize our plans. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 4:30 PM. We kindly ask that guests arrive between 4:00–4:15 PM so everyone can be seated on time.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal attire is requested. Think dress shirts (ties optional), slacks, and dress shoes for men, along with dresses, skirts, or blouses for women. Bridesmaids will be in pastels, and guests are welcome to dress in garden party–inspired attire if they choose!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, this will be an adult-only celebration. We appreciate your understanding and hope you can take this opportunity to enjoy a night out!

Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer

Parking at the venue is limited, so we kindly ask guests to plan accordingly and carpool if possible. Please also note there are no Ubers/Lyfts/rideshare services in Hood River or the surrounding area Thank you for helping make the day run smoothly!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally listed on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for your understanding!

Are food and drinks provided?

Answer

Yes! All food and drinks will be provided. We’ll have hors d’oeuvres during cocktail hour, a buffet-style dinner, water and iced tea, and an open bar for guests 21+. Please enjoy responsibly!
