Park entrance reservation required. Enter the park via the town of Grand Lake (NOT Estes Park). Take US Hwy 40 to Granby, then take US Hwy 34 to Grand Lake. The Grand Lake area is stunning and worth a visit even if you aren't going to RMNP.
