While this isn't at all how we pictured wedding planning, we are still just as excited as ever to be married. We plan to have a small ceremony on our original date with our immediate families to make it official. On May 29th 2021, we plan to repeat our vows in front of all of you, and celebrate just the way we would have this year. We hope you can save our new date and celebrate with us then! We will make sure you have all the details as soon as possible.

It was Fall 2012, when Peter and I first met at Williston State College. Peter was on the Teton Hockey team and I was on the Teton Volleyball team. We were introduced by our friends Ian and Jasmine Harvie on Halloween day, at the school cafeteria. Peter seemed quite nervous. It did not help, as we left, all his belongings fell out of a hole in his backpack! Later that evening we attended the school dance together and danced the night away! We continued to hang out and the time had come, to let him know I wanted to be his girlfriend. There was no beating around the bush, when I asked him, “Why don’t you just ask me out?!?” So he did! 😏 After that year, Peter moved on to Minot State University and I finished up in Williston. We made it work with many drives on Hwy 2. Soon the time came for me to leave Williston behind and make my way to Minot. We spent a few years there making many memories together, while achieving our bachelor’s degrees. Once graduated we made our way back home to Montana and spent a few years in the mountains of Missoula, figuring out our next step. Peter applied to a graduate program at the University of Minnesota and was excitingly accepted! During our first winter break we decided to add an addition to the house, our kitty Bootsy! The Spring semester had come along. When we first moved to Minnesota, I mentioned how I always wanted to visit a Great Lake, I had never been to one. We made our way up to Duluth on Memorial Day weekend. We went to visit the scenic Split Rock Lighthouse, where I was unaware this was the exact same place Peter’s dad had proposed to his mom. He secretly, planned to do the same…I gladly accepted! (I didn’t even have tell him too)
