Zach was born in Illinois but raised in the San Luis Valley all his life where he learned to farm, hunt, fish, and shoot a gun almost as good as his bride to be. He grew up with two brothers and he loves the outdoors.

Rachael was born and raised in the San Luis Valley where she enjoys to ride four-wheelers, shoot competitively, fish, hunt, and camp. She enjoys rainy evenings and “early” sunrises.

Howard and Zach first met at work at the Conejos County’s Sheriff’s office but that’s not where their relationship ended. They work well together inside and outside of work and enjoy doing many things together.

Abby was given to Rachael for her 20th birthday as a special gift from her parents. She loves car rides and pup cups from 7Brew. She is very food motivated like her owner and loves to give kisses.
