Their love story started with just a swipe, one little moment that changed their lives forever. For those who don’t know, they met on Facebook Dating back in 2022. They matched while they were both out in Lake Tahoe during the same 24-hour stretch. With both of their distance settings set to just 15 miles, they somehow ended up swiping on each other in the same small window of time, like it was meant to be from the start. Parker made the first move on May 15, 2022. From that very first message, something just clicked. They started talking nonstop and quickly built a connection that felt easy and natural. They officially started dating on July 3, 2022, after months of late-night FaceTimes and long conversations, despite living on opposite coasts, Parker in North Carolina and Beth in California. Even though miles stretched between them, they never let distance stand in the way. Night after night was spent on FaceTime, laughing, talking, and slowly building something real. Without ever meeting in person at that point, they became each other’s best friend and safe place. In December 2022, they finally met in person at the Stockton train station (yikes!), where they shared their very first hug and kiss before heading off to Beth’s parents’ home. They spent that first Christmas together surrounded by family, warm memories, and the quiet feeling that they had found something special and meant to last. Over the next three years, they lived out a long-distance love story full of early flights, late-night goodbyes, and miles traveled between Washington D.C., Arizona, and California. With every visit, the distance felt a little smaller and the bond a little stronger. They filled their time with inside jokes, favorite shows like Survivor, The Rookie, and The Amazing Race, and the kind of love that grows steadily, even when the road is long. They made the most of every moment apart, sharing DoorDashed meals, playing online Catan, and turning ordinary nights into shared experiences across the miles. Through it all, they stayed grounded in each other. In July 2025, Beth packed up her life, and together they finally closed the distance, driving across the country and turning the journey into one more adventure they got to share. They settled into their first home together in Herndon, Virginia, where they spent those first weeks building a life side by side, unpacking boxes, decorating, and turning an apartment into a home. On August 31, they welcomed their sweetest little sidekick, a Cavapoo named Mazie Grace Fritsch. From that moment on, their little family felt complete as they took Mazie on adventures through Texas, North Carolina, and all around Virginia. Then on December 22, 2025, in Monterey, California, Parker, with Mazie’s full approval and a little help from his mom, asked Beth to marry him. She said yes with her whole heart. Their love story hasn’t always been easy, but it has always been worth it. And now, they’re beyond excited to spend the rest of their days together building a life full of country roads, cozy nights, laughter, adventure, and love… with sweet Mazie right by their side.
