To our wonderful family and friends, We would like to start off by saying that we feel beyond blessed to be able to celebrate our love and unity regardless of what is going on in the world. That being said, it still rings true that planning our wedding has been a whirlwind experience with lots of ups and downs. Change the date— check! Switch the venue— check! Yup, we are now having to switch our venue, but it’s no biggie! It will be a smooth transition for all of our guests! The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will be held at Hutchinson Shores Resort and Spa where we currently have a room block. For your convenience, we have cancelled our room block at the Marriot and expanded ours at Hutchinson Shores. The final date to book a room is September 5th, and we kindly ask that you RSVP by September 1st at the very latest. We know there is a lot going on with COVID-19, and we value your health and safety. Although we will be sad and miss you dearly, we completely understand if you’re no longer able to attend. Please just let us know as soon as possible. Whether you are near or far, you will always remain a part of our hearts and special day. We appreciate you, we love you, and we hope to celebrate with you soon!
Funny enough, we have been each other's lives for a very long time, but it was always at a distance. We both went to Saint Rose of Lima School for the majority of our lives, but we were 2 grades apart causing us to never really be in the same group of friends-- just know of each other. I actually was in class with Erik's brother, Zachary, for the majority of elementary/middle school. I remember seeing the Frischholz Family at church every Sunday. Who would have thought we would end up here? Time passed, and we went to different high schools and colleges. After graduating, I decided to teach where my heart belonged, Saint Rose. Little did we know, we both were working there and would be crossing paths yet again. One day, our friends and co-workers, Nancy & Miguel, decided to play match maker. They had a friendship with Erik as they would see him working in the Church Parish Office every afternoon, and they had a friendship with me as they would spend time in my classroom before and after school hours. Fast forward through some details, they arranged an exchange of phone numbers and an initial meeting. We have been by each other's side ever since then, and we wouldn't have it any other way. We feel blessed beyond measure to have each other and to be guided by the angels that helped us come together.
