Things To Do

Get the most out of the coast! Here are our favorite places for bites, drinks, and a little adventure. Of note, The Marconi does not have a kitchen so it's the perfect excuse to explore more of the northern coast.
The Marshall Store

The Marshall Store

19225 California 1, Marshall, CA 94940

Lunch spot a hop, skip, and away from The Marconi. This oyster oasis even made it on New York Time's best 50 restaurants in America. PS: get there early, their restaurant can fill up!

Nick's Cove

Nick's Cove

23240 California 1, Marshall, CA 94940

Indoor and outdoor seating, a full bar and a crackling fireplace right on the water. Need I say more?

Point Reyes Station

Point Reyes Station

Point Reyes Station, CA 94956

15 minute drive from The Marconi is Point Reyes Station, where you'll find a number of restaurants! Importantly, it is the closest town to grab a cup of coffee. :) Breakfast & Coffee: - Side Street Kitchen - Toby's Coffee Bar Everything Else: - Inverness Park Market (picnic baskets, deli, and groceries) - Tap Room gastropub

Tomales Bay State Park

Tomales Bay State Park

Tomales Bay State Park, CA 94937

This park has beautiful beaches like Shell Beach and Heart’s Desire Beach, this is where that picnic basket from Inverness Store might come in handy. There are also hiking trails such as the Johnstone Trail or the Indian Beach Nature Trail.

Point Reyes Farmstead Cheese Co

Point Reyes Farmstead Cheese Co

14700 Shoreline Highway, Point Reyes Station, CA 94956

If it's not oysters, it's cheese. Check out Point Reyes Farmstead Cheese Co marketplace or book in advance for a cheese tasting!

Point Reyes Lighthouse

Point Reyes Lighthouse
