FAQs

Question

Is the wedding at the historic Old Edwards Inn on Main Street?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will take place at The Farm at Old Edwards, a separate event venue about 8 minutes from Old Edwards Inn and Spa. The address of the wedding venue is 336 Arnold Road.

Question

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Yes, transportation will be provided to and from the wedding. Shuttles will depart from just behind the Historic Inn (exact address to be provided) as well as from 200 Main Hotel starting at 4:00 PM. Return shuttles will begin around 9:00 PM for anyone who would like to head back earlier, with continued service throughout the evening.

Question

Can I drive to the venue?

Answer

Yes, but parking at the venue is limited. We recommend taking the provided transportation whenever possible, but there will be parking available if needed.

Question

Are Ubers, Lyfts, or taxis available?

Answer

Not reliably. Highlands has very limited rideshare availability. If you plan to travel outside of the provided transportation, we recommend arranging a car service in advance (especially given the holiday weekend) or designating a driver. If you would like to book your own transportation, we recommend reaching out to Mountain Motor Coach (www.mountainmotorcoach.com) ASAP given the holiday weekend.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding events will be adults-only. We hope this allows everyone to relax and fully enjoy the evening. That said, everyone is welcome to join us for more casual time together on the Fourth of July!

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask for a phone-free ceremony. Please silence and put away your phones and refrain from taking photos so everyone can be fully present — we promise to share plenty of photos afterward.

Question

The dress code is black tie optional — do I need to wear a tuxedo?

Answer

No, a tuxedo is not required. Black tie optional means you’re welcome to wear a tux if you’d like, but a dark suit and tie is equally appropriate. The overall dress code is formal, so think elevated and polished.

Question

What is “dressy casual” for the welcome party?

Answer

Think polished but relaxed. Jackets are encouraged (no ties needed). For women, dresses or dressy separates work well.

Question

Is there food at the welcome party?

Answer

The welcome party will include drinks only. Please plan to have dinner beforehand.
