Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invite doesn't say "and guest," but there's someone special that you want to bring, please shoot us a text. We want to stick to our numbers as much as possible, but if you're dying to dance the night away with your love, let us know! We'll do our best to accommodate.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

To Michigan? Absolutely! To the event itself, though, we do ask that the kiddos stay at home or at the hotel. We want moms and dads to have a night to boogie without any boogies (get it?). If you do travel for the weekend as a family and want sitter recommendations, please reach out to Kelsey. There are plenty of awesome sitters in the area that could pop over to the hotel for the evening to play with your little ones.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely! For vegetarians, we have a special plate option. Please check that box in the RSVP section. For other allergies, please make a special note in your RSVP. *As a note, a very special ring bearer has a severe nut allergy, so the event will be nut free! The donut shop cannot guarantee, however, that the donuts will not have nut oil near them, as they are baked in the same environment with nut-filled goodies. If you do have a nut allergy, please let us know in your RSVP. We'll make sure that you (and our champion ringbearer) have a special late night sweet treat. :)

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes. There is parking at the venue. Please note that Bay Pointe has a few separate venue locations, all pretty close together. We don't want you to get lost! The address provided for the "Lakeside Pavillion" is our venue, not to be confused with the "Bay Pointe Woods."

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the ceremony?

Answer

Yep, shuttles will be running between the hotel and the venue all night. Bring your dancing shoes and come ready for some fun.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 5pm, so the last shuttle will arrive around 4:45. If you are driving, we ask that you try to arrive between 4:30 and 4:45.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes! Please see the "Registry" tab above. Because our new home is on the smaller side (1 bed 1 bath, about 700 square feet), our registry is not as jam-packed with typical registry-like "house things." We just don't have the space! We are saving up for quite a few things right now - our honeymoon (planning on sometime in 2022), our home renovations (we bought a DEFINITE fixer upper, and we have been hard at work!), and our "Boat Fund" (our house is on a lake!). We would love any cash contributions toward these goals. Thank you for coming to celebrate with us!
