What other information do I need to know before planning my trip to Allentown?

Answer

There is a cluster of hotels in the Fogelsville / Breinigsville area (intersection of I-78 and Rt 100), which is near the bride and groom’s parents’ homes. This location is between the church (Asbury United Methodist) and reception (Brookside Country Club, Macungie), about 7 miles from each. Information on hotel room blocks can be found on our Travel tab. There is a small discount associated with the block, but you are encouraged to check other discounts like AAA or hotel member pricing. Book early. Be advised that these hotels do sell out for this time frame, for summer travel to various festivals and amusement parks, as well as a lacrosse tournament!

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

Airports convenient to Allentown include Lehigh Valley International Airport (ABE or Allentown/Bethlehem/Easton), Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR), and Philadelphia (PHL). ABE is an easy, small airport about 20 minutes from the suggested hotel area, but has somewhat limited direct flights. Newark and Philadelphia are each less than 1.5 hours away, depending on traffic. Philadelphia is a bit closer. Frontier flies into Trenton (TTN). The Trenton “Airport” consists of one gate for Frontier Airlines.
